DONATE TO A.R.F. - Animal Rescue Foundation

A.R.F. - Animal Rescue Foundation appreciates and acknowledges all donations to support its programs and services. Contributions are frequently received in memory of human family and friends as well as animal companions. Your contributions give the gift of a second chance to animals, many with life threatening medical conditions or injuries. ARF depends on the generosity of our community and volunteers to help care for our animals. We do not receive government funding. We are an entirely volunteered based organization and no money is used for administrative salaries. We are 501(c)3 non-profit organization and your donations may be tax deductible. MONETARY DONATIONS

Make a one-time donation to the animals of A.R.F. - Animal Rescue Foundation:

You may download and complete our Donation Form and enclose with your gift made payable to the Animal Rescue Foundation of Illinois. If you work for a company that has a “matching gift” program, please remember to complete the necessary process so you donation will go a lot further to help the animals! CONSTANT COMPANIONS PROGRAM

Be part of our Constant Companions Recurring Gift Program! A recurring donation is a pre-authorized arrangement in which a donor authorizes Animal Rescue Foundation - Illinois to make donation against a specific credit card account, for a specified donation amount. Donors can set up a monthly, quarterly or annual recurring donation. Recurring gifts provide a consistent, reliable income stream to the organization. Donors often prefer this method of giving because it's easy to budget and it feels great to be making a difference in the lives of so many animals consistently, throughout the year.

PLANNED GIVING

Planned giving is a tool that allows you the opportunity to ensure the Animal Rescue Foundation - Illinois will be able to continue into the future. Planned gifts include bequests through your will, gifts that provide income to you and others for life, gifts of life insurance, charitable lead trusts, and gifts of retirement plans.

Ways to give through wills and trusts:

Leave a specific dollar amount
Designate that a percentage of your estate be given through your will or living trust.
Give only the remainder, or residue, of your estate - that which remains after bequests to loved ones have been made
Provide for a gift of specific property-real estate, stocks or other items

An individual may designate that a bequest be used for the general purposes of Animal Rescue Foundation - Illinois, or go to support a specific program. Funds can be set up as restricted or unrestricted.

You may choose to language such as the following for your bequest:

"I give and bequeath to A.R.F. - Animal Rescue Foundation, a non-profit organization, located at 23W042 Woodcroft Drive, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137, the sum of $_______, to be used for the accomplishment of it's general purposes (or for a specific purpose, as indicated)."

EMPLOYER MATCHING GIFT PROGRAMS

Your company can increase the impact of your gift dollar-for-dollar (and sometimes double that) and can inspire other fellow employees to do the same. Don't forget to ask your employer if they will match your charitable contributions.

If your employer participates in a matching gift program, ask for the proper forms and procedures. Fill in the required information and send the form along with your gift to A.R.F. - Animal Rescue Foundation PO Box 4423, Wheaton, IL 60189. We'll take it from there - we will process the gift and the documentation for the matching gift. It is that easy!

A.R.F. - Animal Rescue Foundation temporary care homes are always in need of items to help provide the animals the best possible care. Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator to make a donation. These items include, but are not limited to:

High quality dog food, Royal Canin or Nutro is preferred (dog and/or puppy)
High quality cat food, Royal Canin is preferred (cat and/or kitten)
Paper towels and gently used cloth towels
Chew toys for puppies that can be washed
Rawhide bones, Kong toys, ANY and ALL kinds of KONG toys
Leashes, Collars (all sizes)
Liquid bleach, HE (High Efficiency) laundry detergent, and dish detergent
Garbage bags in 13 and 30 gallon sizes
Disposable latex surgical gloves
