Male kitten, neutered, about 12 weeks old (as of 6/1/14), microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, currently in a foster home, will be making appearances at ARF Adoption Events (see http://www.arf-il.org/events.html for times and locations), adoption fee $125.

I'm Gable.

I am a long haired orange Tabby who has come a pretty long way in my 13 weeks.  I came from Southern IL with my brothers and sisters.  I was an orphan, but my foster kitty mom saw that I didn't have anyone to take care of me, so she took me as her own and made sure that I got the milk that I needed grow big and strong.

When I came to my foster mom's house, I was pretty scared.  I didn't like to be picked up, and would cry and squirm to get down every time she tried to hold me.  I'm just glad she was so patient with me.  She held me every day, and she made me more comfortable around people.  Now I cuddle and purr around her.  She also found my soft spot for laser pointers and kitty treats.

I love playing with my sister Bacall, and would love to go to a home with another kitten that I can play with.  My foster mom says that I am past my cute stage and hit my handsome stage.  She thinks that I will be a bigger boy, over 10 pounds when I am full grown.  I'm a really sweet boy, I am just looking for my forever home.
