  • Color: Tabby
  • Location: Foster Home

Female, not spayed yet, about 11 weeks old (as of 7/13/13), microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, currently at the Wheaton Petsmart (63 Rice Lake Square Wheaton, IL 60187, 630-462-7345), adoption fee $125.

Tara and her sisters (Tiffany and Tammy) and brother (Tyler) and mom (Taffy) were rescued from a kill shelter by ARF when the kittens were only 3 weeks old.   None of the babies look anything like momcat, who is part Siamese, but they are all super cute --- and full of kitten energy.  And can they ever snuggle!    If you would like to meet any of them, please fill out an online application and their foster mom will bring them to Petsmart for you meet and hopefully fall in love.

If you are interested in meeting Tara, you can fill out an online adoption application at http://www.arf-il.org/application.html  Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting with the cat.  Filling out the application does not obligate you in any way.

Thank you for considering a rescue pet from A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation! We are  based in Wheaton, IL and conduct adoption events in the DuPage County area. If you are interested in adopting one of our pets, please submit an adoption application at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/

Adoption appointments are scheduled based on the order of applications received, so submit your application early! Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions or schedule meetings until your application has been approved. More information about our adoption process can be found on our website here: https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/

As an all-volunteer, foster home-based organization, A.R.F. Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals. Please visit https://www.arf-il.org/events/ for a list of our upcoming adoption events.

Thank you for choosing to adopt, not shop!
