This beautiful 7-8 year old, 70lb, purebred female Chocolate Lab is super sweet.  She knows "sit," "lay down," and "leave it,"  and she enjoys the company of other dogs.  Cali came to ARF in 2013 covered with fleas, heartworm positive, and starved for attention after spending the previous 2 years living in an outdoor run.  She was hit by a car and suffered a broken pelvis, which  ARF had repaired and, in her surgeon's opinion, no arthritis is expected as a result of her injuries and no long term restrictions.  She was adopted but sadly has been surrendered again after nearly 2 years.  She is as loving and playful as ever, though does get frightened by raised voices.  Her ideal home would be one with adults or older children where someone is home most of the time.  Can you give sweet Cali the loving, kind, permanent home that she deserves?
