Female, spayed, about 4 years old, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, currently in a foster home, needs to be adopted with her sister Journey (also listed on this site), adoption fee for the two sisters together $125.

Cali and Journey are up for adoption because their adoptive mom soon learned that she was allergic to cats and is no longer able to keep them as the allergies have become too much. Cali is a little chunky despite being put on a diet, but is a very loveable lap cat.  She enjoys spending time on her lap and greets visitors at the door.  She is not shy around strangers and will sit in anyone’s lap, especially if they have a blanket.  Despite her larger size, she is very playful and loves feather teasers and cat nip.  She has a sister named Journey (also on the site) who is from the same litter. It would be preferred that Cali and Journey remain together. Once given time, Cali can adapt to living with new cats and tolerates dogs. She has lived with a dog for 3 years, and while she doesn’t prefer his company, she deals with him nicely.  Cali’s favorite things are snuggling with her owners, sleeping, and being petted.
