About Nicki

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Location: Foster Home
  • Declawed: No
  • Housetrained: Yes

Nicki is a female, 3 months old (as of 5/30/12), not spayed yet, in foster home.  The adoption fee for her or her sister Mia is $225 each.

Sisters Are Ready For Action!

Nicki and her sister Mia are 3 month old German Shepherd mix pups that are as sweet as can be!

Nicki is the bigger of the 2 with a broader face and lighter markings, she has big paws and big plans. She is very playful, loves attention and is potty trained! Nicki will be a big dog with a big heart to match. She is good with kids and other dogs.

Mia is the "big sister" at heart, although she is smaller than her sister Nicki. She has the confidence to take the lead in exploring new people and places. She is very quiet and loves to be close by your side throughout the day. Her markings are darker and her face is more narrow than Nicki's, with a little Dobi/Rott look than all German Shepherd. She is potty trained and loves to play and will need some room to roam.

Thank you for considering a rescue pet from A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation! We are  based in Wheaton, IL and conduct adoption events in the DuPage County area. If you are interested in adopting one of our pets, please submit an adoption application at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/

Adoption appointments are scheduled based on the order of applications received, so submit your application early! Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions or schedule meetings until your application has been approved. More information about our adoption process can be found on our website here: https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/

As an all-volunteer, foster home-based organization, A.R.F. Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals. Please visit https://www.arf-il.org/events/ for a list of our upcoming adoption events.

Thank you for choosing to adopt, not shop!
