Hannah is a 9 month old, beagle/shepherd. Hannah can be seen lounging in her foster home which she enjoys with other dogs, cats and small, quick-moving, screeching, young humans. She's a sociable girl who just wants to have fun and is interested in all that goes on around her. She doesn't necessarily want to participate in the action of the moment, but she lifts her head to take a better look, might walk over to sniff it out and sometimes perks up an ear. For being about a year old, that's pretty calm. She's going to be a marvelous pet for an active family or for adults prefer having company on a walk and do not want a 'needy' dog. She has lovely manners, will work for food and snuffles to arrange her bed just-so to her liking. She's 35 lbs, healthy, spayed, UTD vetted, well-adjusted and attentive. Sort of an 'instant' pet. This dog really has no 'issues'. She came into rescue from a loving home with family and children. She'd benefit from a training course to let her know your rules and what you expect in your home. Her current foster family reports that she dutifully leaves the dining room during meals with a 'go to your place'. She stops politely with a 'wait' at the open front door...no bolting out. She's been heard to bark exaclty twice when someone's waiting at the door (which they do a lot cuz the doorbell's broken). While she's curious about cats, none of them have registered a formal complaint yet. She does not eat Barbies, trucks or super hero dolls. She does relish a stinky sock now and then, but only takes it to her bed to save it from a worse fate (the other foster dog eats them). She has no aggression issues with food, and when Sock Breath goes after her bowl, she walks away and lets him have it. Amazing. And while she seems to know that she's not 'home' just yet, she's friendly and sweet and cheerful. A very easy dog to like. A calm dog to live with. A fun dog for walks and a game of fetch. Low maintenance. High returns. Hannah is spayed, housetrained, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Her new family is required to complete a basic obedience course of their choice with Hannah. More about HannahGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids
