Whiskey is a brunette DSH with beautiful tiger markings. He is the boldest of his litter, always the first to try something new or venture into new territory. He saved his litter from perishing after their Momma was killed by crawling out of their nest and crying for help at a campground in Whiteside County, IL. ARF rescued the three week old kittens (Whiskey, Willow and Dutch), cleaned them up, medicated, fed them and has provided foster care since.

Whiskey loves all toys, but catnip mice are his favorite. His days are filled with exploration, trying to get the closet doors open to get to the forbidden “shoes”, climbing the cat trees with ease and rolling in play with his brother and sister. He is strong, and brave, and fearless; listening for the sound of his foster Dad’s boots in the hallway so he can run out peeping in greeting. He is very social with his foster family and the neighborhood kids, always looking for someone to play feather with him or roll a ball. He is intensely curious about the foster puppies on the other side of the gate and will slip thru the spindles to get a closer look. He loves to play with his full size German Shepard foster sister, winding around her legs until they both are tangled up in the hallway.

Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions or schedule meetings until your application has been approved.
