Hi! I'm PJ, a male, 9 month old, 51 pound playful Pit Bull mix rescued from Chicago Animal Control.

Be prepared to have your heart stolen! PJ is a totally adorable, well behaved, very social little guy whose photos do not do him justice. In person, all who meet him say “aww what a cutie!” Even though PJ is young, he knows how to be a “good boy” as he is very trainable, learning new commands every day – which he picks up on instantly. He is extremely loyal to his foster parents and only wants to please. Since he is a puppy, he loves to get exercise and play with other dogs a lot; but he also loves to hang out with his foster parents and just cuddle on the couch. Upon meeting him, he immediately says “hello” with a wag and a lick to anyone he meets, and charms people with his humble personality and stunning good looks. He has been described as “very regal looking.”

He would do well with a canine buddy or someone who does not work a lot of hours since he is so young and needs exercise, and is such a social guy who prefers to be with people and animals. Because he's so exhuberant and could accidentally knock younger kids down, children in the home should be 12 yrs. or older. PJ is housetrained, crate trained, neutered and fully vaccinated.

Please give PJ the forever home he deserves. He will be loyal and loving to you forever!
