Thanks for your interest in a pet from A.R.F.! If you see a pet here, they are still available for adoption and you should apply through our adoption application on our website at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/
I’m Daisy… a 2 ½ year old, 78lb, female, Weimaraner. I’ll be 3 on Sept. 29. I love to snuggle, play ball (tennis balls are my favorite), follow my family from room to room, go for walks, rides in the car, chew on pizzle sticks and any rubberized dog toy. I’m not crazy about having my teeth brushed but if they use beef flavored tooth paste – it’s not so bad. I love plush toys but sometimes rip them up in my excitement. I don’t have a thick coat so at night I’m happiest snuggling in bed with you or on my dog bed near the fireplace. My family adopted me when I was 4 months old. They crate trained me but now I roam all day uncrated in the house without incident. They potty trained me, got me microchipped, spayed and got me enrolled in dog school. I’m a doggie school graduate of Markay Dog Training (passed beginner & intermediate); I am very bright and eager to please. I’ve lived with my parents, their other 9 yr old Weimaraner and their 7 year old daughter just fine until the twins arrived! Now that the twins are mobile, I am very nervous and anxious. I would prefer a home with children 7 yrs or older, or an adult home… If you’re looking for a faithful companion, who’s sleek, sassy, energetic and extra snuggly, we could be perfect for each other. For a donation of only $250, I could be your lifelong, devoted friend.

Thank you for considering a rescue pet from A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation! We are
based in Wheaton, IL and conduct adoption events in the DuPage County area. If you are interested in adopting one of our pets, please submit an adoption application at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/ Adoption appointments are scheduled based on the order of applications received, so submit your application early! Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions or schedule meetings until your application has been approved. More information about our adoption process can be found on our website here: https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/ As an all-volunteer, foster home-based organization, A.R.F. Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals. Please visit https://www.arf-il.org/events/ for a list of our upcoming adoption events. Thank you for choosing to adopt, not shop! |
