Gabby is a 8-9 month old border collie mix. She is 21lbs right now and will probably be 30lbs full grown.  She is a beautiful girl who is learning to trust people.

Update from foster home on 11-26

Gabby is coming out of her shell very nicely.  She is a very sweet girl and loves attention and loves to be petted.  We have done some good socializing with her the past two weekends with lots of people and lots of other dogs and she is doing very well.  She is still very hesitant of new situations and doesn't like to ride in the car, but she is so much better with meeting new people.  My son came home from college and she didn’t shy from him at all - they started playing right away and he actually got the first bark out of her that we have heard!  She is very quiet, likes to hoard toys, shoes, anything she can pick up, plays nicely with other dogs, and has been great with kids, even little ones.    And she "steals" chewies from my dog, even when she already has her own!  She seems to be completely housebroken, is very comfortable in her crate, and walks GREAT on a leash.  She LOVES to go for walks!  We are working on "come" and "sit" now.  She is a very passive, low energy dog, though, which is kind of surprising given that it seems she has Aussie/Border Collie in her…
