About Hannah

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Brown/Chocolate
  • Declawed: No
  • Housetrained: Yes

Hannah is a 2-3 year old, 65 pound squirming bundle of chocolate love.  Her personality is totally Labrador, and of course, the chocolate flavor is just a little goofier than those blander yellows and blacks.  She is affectionate, energetic, and wants to please.  She is very good with other dogs, and especially likes runnin' and rasslin' with foster brother Griff the chocolate Lab, and with his foster's big Labs, Teddy and Davey.  She also likes to chase balls for her people, and is pretty good at returning them.  She needs work on her training and manners, but she is smart and learning fast.  With love and patience, she will become a well behaved, loving companion.  She is a little rough around the edges with her playful exhuberance and energy, but she has not shown any aggression at any time.

She appears to be housetrained, as she's had no accidents in the house during the short time that we've had her. She is crate trained, and though she would rather be with her people, but she quiets down very quickly once in there.  She is healthy and happy, fully vaccinated, AVID microchipped, spayed and heartworm negative.

Hannah is one cute, fun, sweet and cuddly Labbie girl.  She will make some lucky persons a wonderful companion.

Thank you for considering a rescue pet from A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation! We are  based in Wheaton, IL and conduct adoption events in the DuPage County area. If you are interested in adopting one of our pets, please submit an adoption application at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/

Adoption appointments are scheduled based on the order of applications received, so submit your application early! Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions or schedule meetings until your application has been approved. More information about our adoption process can be found on our website here: https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/

As an all-volunteer, foster home-based organization, A.R.F. Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals. Please visit https://www.arf-il.org/events/ for a list of our upcoming adoption events.

Thank you for choosing to adopt, not shop!
