This is Waylon. He’s an Australian Labradoodle. Almost 5 months old and 27 pounds.  He’s an affectionate and smart guy. Doing well on potty training and walks well on a leash. He will make a great addition to a loving home and will do best in a single family residence - Waylon is not a fan of the various noises associated with apartment living. 

Here is what Waylon would like you to know about him:

If you’re looking for a friendly, playful, and loyal companion, I’m your guy.  If you’re looking for peace and quiet while I get acclimated to your home, you may want to swipe left.

But if we can get past the initial few days of me being a need machine, I’ll reward you with many years of loyal companionship. In fact, I may be a little too loyal. I’ll follow you into the bathroom if you let me. I'm affectionate and generous with puppy kisses. I’m a quick study when it comes to my potty training, as long as you’re not a slacker and take me out often. I welcome other playmates (kids, dogs, cats – I love everyone) and go from whirling dervish to passed out in nothing flat.  My absolute favorite thing to do is retrieve the tennis ball.  I could do it all day long!

This pup is micro-chipped and up to date on all vaccinations, and neutered. The new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing.  The pup's adoption fee is $850. Please note ARF does not approve applications for any puppy under 6 months of age to families that live outside of Illinois and/or beyond 100 miles of Wheaton or Glen Ellyn, IL.  A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you're interested in adopting this pup fill out an online application today!  https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/  Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting.  ARF is an all volunteer organization.  Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved.  Thank you for your patience!
