Xena and Scout have lived in the same home all their lives, unfortunately for them a new family member was highly allergic, the family tried everything possible to keep them but unfortunately the allergies were too severe.

Xena was the first to come out and greet me after a few days. She loves attention but is not pushy about getting it. She will lay next to me, and we are slowly getting closer to sitting on my lap. She loves getting brushed and petted and will purr the whole time. She tends to check on Scout a lot and make sure she is ok. She will let you pick her up but not for a long period of time. Xena likes to sit on the bed or chair and take everything in. She will hide if scared of course, but of the two she is the braver one. Xena has little to no white on her.

Scout is the shyer of two. It took her a bit longer to come out and greet me, but once comfortable she was rubbing on my leg and reviving up her purr motor. Scout loves to be pet and brushed also; she will lay near you but has not shown any attempt to sit on my lap. Of the two She is much more vocal and will rub on you for pets. Scout will hide a lot, but once out you will hear her motor going her purr so loud it makes me laugh. Scout has white paws and white on her chest.

Xena and Scout cannot be separated as they are bonded, they would do best in a home with no other pets and no children. It has been a tough road for them and their former owner, it was not an easy decision to have to rehome them. I was very surprised it only took about a week for them to start accepting and trusting me as we are becoming fast friends. If you are looking for 2 very beautiful and sweet older cats Xena and Scout are the ones.
