Hi! My name is Caramel, and I'm a 6 year old orange cat! All of the volunteers say that I'm a very pretty girl - come meet me, and I'm sure you'll agree! I came to A.R.F. about a week ago when my old family unexpectedly had to move out of the country. I'd been with them for my entire life, so this has been a big, scary transition. The volunteers at the Wheaton Petsmart Cat Center have been very patient and kind to me, though, and I've really come out of my shell! I love to play with laser toys, and to give head bonks to people I'm affectionate towards in exchange for gentle pets. I'm very chatty, and like to tell you about my day. I love to sleep in bed and lay on the couch with my family, too! The volunteers say that I have no issues using a litter box, but would prefer to be the only pet in the home. Could you be the perfect family for me? Apply to bring me home today! Caramel is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained. Caramel's adoption fee is $135. If you are interested in meeting Caramel, please fill out our Online Application today! Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting. Thank you for considering a rescue pet from A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation! We are
based in Wheaton, IL and conduct adoption events in the DuPage County area. If you are interested in adopting one of our pets, please submit an adoption application at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/ Adoption appointments are scheduled based on the order of applications received, so submit your application early! Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions or schedule meetings until your application has been approved. More information about our adoption process can be found on our website here: https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/ As an all-volunteer, foster home-based organization, A.R.F. Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals. Please visit https://www.arf-il.org/events/ for a list of our upcoming adoption events. Thank you for choosing to adopt, not shop! |
