Hello from peppy little Candace! I am a 15 pound cutie and estimated to be about 2 years old of pure fun and sweetness! I am extremely friendly and loving, and enjoy a good round of play in the yard with my foster's dogs...sometimes we can get a bit rough, but it's all in fun, as we get to blow off some steam after being cooped up in the house during these cold winter days.

I came to ARF a short while ago with my newborn pups and I was a wonderful mama, but now it’s my turn to find my forever home and be cherished and spoiled. I would love a family with kids, and preferably one with another young dog to play with and a fenced yard to run about in. I will, however, get along great in most any family dynamic, as long as my people give me plenty of love and attention. Know that I have never met a cat, but I sure love all dogs and people! In addition, I will benefit from gentle, positive reinforcement and some obedience training, as I am still a puppy at heart.

The best parts of my day include romping with my foster family’s young dog, playing fetch with my doggy toys and then napping on the couch after playtime is over. Then, it’s on to my people to cuddle and give kisses...I guess you could even consider me a bit of a lap dog! 

Although I am crate-trained, I don’t really need one, and I'm only crated for short periods when my foster family leaves the house. Otherwise, I am given free run of the home because I am such a good girl. At night I sleep quietly in bed along with my people, and we keep each other toasty warm! Lucky for me that I have a low-maintenance soft coat and only require minimal grooming! Gosh, it seems like I really have it all! Now I just need a forever family to call my own!

I will be available for adoption once my spay has been completed on 2/2/22, so get your application in quickly. I can’t wait to meet my new family and spoil you with all my love! 

Candace is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, housebroken and spayed.  Her new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing.

Candace's adoption fee is $350.  A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you're interested in adopting Candace fill out an Online Application today!
