Hello, my name is Ivy. I'm a precious 1 year old terrier mix who came to ARF from Quincy. I was a bit scared at first, but now I'm ready to find my furever home.

Here are some things you would like to know about me just to make sure I'm the right fit for your family. I really love to play, spend a lot of time with my humans and of course being a terrier I have a good deal of energy so I will benefit from a lot of exercise and some training. I love squeaky toys, playing tug-of-war, fetching the toy and, I will bring it back, but you’re gonna have to put up a fight to get it out of my mouth. I need to improve walking on a leash, but that’s only because I love people so much. I get super excited when I see them and I just know that they’ll love me! I am still working on housebreaking, sometimes I just get a little too excited and I forget that I’m supposed to go outside. With the proper training and time I will be the perfect pet.

Since I'm still young I really love to play. Unfortunately sometimes that means I play bite, so a home with no really young children would be ideal for me. I would love to have all the attention for myself, but I do like having dog friends, so other dogs are ok. In return for all of the attention, I will give you a lot of love, laughs, and fun. Do you think I can be a good match for your family? Come to meet me so we can start our new adventure together.

Ivy is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and is scheduled to be spayed 9/15/2020.  Her new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing.

Ivy's adoption fee is $400.  A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you're interested in adopting Ivy fill out an Online Application today!
