I need a hero. I am holding out for a hero until I find one. Ok I changed the ending of those song lyrics. Are you potentially that hero? Do you have a quiet home where I can be the king of the castle? I am a painfully shy kitty, am fiv+, do not have any teeth and am an older mostly black cat. See why I need a hero? My foster family does not believe I’ve been around people for the majority of my life. They are hoping I open up a little more once I’ve been here and know that I can trust them. When they pick me up from where I am hiding I will stay in their arms and be petted and loved. I however do not know how to ask for love and attention. I am certainly a gentle giant and have never hissed or swatted. Because I am really shy I have not been introduced to cats, dogs or kids. I might do really well with them once I am comfortable, but after potentially living my entire life on the streets, my foster family is taking it one step at a time and hasn’t introduced me to any other pets or young children. I hope you will come seek me out and see the gem hiding in plain sight!

Harry is 11 years old and is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered , and litter box trained.
