Great Pyrenees (long coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : X-Large
Thanks for your interest in a pet from A.R.F.! If you see a pet here, they are still available for adoption and you should apply through our adoption application on our website at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/
Bandana is a 5 year old spayed Great Pyrenees who weighs in at 80 pounds. It seems Bandana used to lead a pretty solitary life. Since coming to ARF, she has made great progress with her foster - learning to trust humans and the world around them. She loves people! Bandana tested positive for heartworm, was treated mid-September and will have no lasting effects from it. She is house trained, and would initially benefit from being in a smaller area when left home alone. She is working on basic commands and leash walking with her foster mom. Bandana is an affectionate girl who will bond to her favorite human. She would be fine as the only dog or with the right canine partner. Bandana would love a home with a fenced in yard and a bed to cuddle on. She is a pretty chill girl who just likes to hang out with her humans. Bandana is looking for a human/family to call her own who will treat her with the patience, love, and kindness that she so deserves! Bandana is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and spayed. Her new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. Bandana's adoption fee is $350. A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you're interested in adopting Bandana fill out an Online Application today! Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting.
