Did you get drawn in by the gorgeous green eyes of Nalani? It’s understandable – she’s a strikingly gorgeous girl! Nalani’s name means quiet skies in Hawaiian and is pronounced nah-LAH-nee. She has a very pretty ticked tabby coat – meaning the colors of her fur are actually different down the strand of fur – it’s one color on the tip and another color at the base. Her tail has rings of calico though – she’s got a ring of black, orange and white.

Nalani came to ARF earlier this year with a secret – she had babies on board! Once we got her to the vet we realized she was pregnant so we made sure to take extra good care of her and fatten her up for her babies. She gave birth on Memorial Day to 5 adorable kittens. Nalani has been an exceptional mama to her babies.

Nalani is estimated to be about a year and a half old. She is VERY playful – she especially likes chasing the green sparkle ball around. Do NOT get in her way – she does not care if she gave birth to you – if you are in the way of her sparkle ball she will mow you down – LOL.

One very important thing to know about Nalini is that she is a hugger. She will reach up and put both arms around your neck for a hug. She loves to be picked up so she can sit on your lap and snuggle. She will lean in and sit on her foster mom’s lap and be petted for as many minutes as her foster mom has. She is a lovely and affectionate cat who cannot wait to be in a forever home.

As a mama cat, the adoption fee for Nalani is $95. This includes everything that has been done so far for her medically (spay, vaccines, microchip, deworming, etc) as well as a certificate for a free exam with one of our veterinary partners post adoption.
