About Daisy

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Tricolor (Tan/Brown & Black & White)
  • Declawed: No
  • Housetrained: Yes

Daisy is a sweet, affectionate & timid young girl.  She gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home, but is protective of her toys & food when other dogs come near.  Although she weighs 70 lbs., she is gentle & affectionate toward adults & small children, and curious about, & and a little afraid of, cats.  She never jumps up on people.  In warm weather she enjoys wading through the kiddie pool at her foster home & she's never met a bone or squeaky toy she didn't like.

She is shy & at times seeks the safety of a "safe place" such as behind the sofa or under a table when she is frightened by a loud noise.

Her right eye was removed from an old injury.  Her lack of sight in that eye impairs her vision but in no way impairs her activity level.  She is a healthy, playful 2 year old.

Daisy is spayed, microchipped, crate trained, housetrained, & up-to-date on vaccines.

Thank you for considering a rescue pet from A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation! We are  based in Wheaton, IL and conduct adoption events in the DuPage County area. If you are interested in adopting one of our pets, please submit an adoption application at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/

Adoption appointments are scheduled based on the order of applications received, so submit your application early! Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions or schedule meetings until your application has been approved. More information about our adoption process can be found on our website here: https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/

As an all-volunteer, foster home-based organization, A.R.F. Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals. Please visit https://www.arf-il.org/events/ for a list of our upcoming adoption events.

Thank you for choosing to adopt, not shop!
