Calvin is a sweet girl who came to us from a kill shelter in southern Illinois.  She was on the euthanasia list when ARF saved her.  Now she wants to be your forever kitty! Calvin was pregnant when ARF got her but unfortunately her babies never fully developed and she had a miscarriage at her forster home.  Calvin is one of the sweetest cats her foster mom has ever seen! She LOVES to be held and cuddled!  She will greet you at the door when you come home and sleep with you at night (her purr is the best)!  She also likes to talk and has the cutest little voice.  She's about 1-2 years old and has so much love to give her humans.  She does not seem to like dogs, but did live with other cats at her foster home.  She seemed to prefer male cats over females.  Calvin LOVES to play with wand toys, especially feathers on a string.  Will you be her forever family?
 
Calvin is a 1-2 year old female who is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained.

Adoption appointments are scheduled based on the order of applications received, so submit your application early! Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions or schedule meetings until your application has been approved.
