Female, spayed, about 2 years old (as of February 2019), microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, currently at the Wheaton PetSmart (63 Rice Lake Square Wheaton, IL 60187, 630-462-7345), special “momcat” adoption fee $90.

This gorgeous and very sweet girl is Iolana (pronounced ee-oh-lah-na).  Her name means “to soar” in Hawaiian and she’s ready to do just that!  Iolana came to ARF from animal control in southern Illinois.  She had suffered a miscarriage and was hanging out with her friend the pink stuffed bear while she recovered.  She has been with ARF for over a month now and she’s just the sweetest little girl.  She is incredibly playful and while she’s not a huge fan of being picked up, she likes nothing better than to sit on laps and get pets.  She gets along with other kitties (even when she’s living with scampy older kittens) and is very respectful of their boundaries.  She would make an excellent pet if you are looking to add an additional cat to your home, or if you are looking for a single kitty.  Once you meet her you’ll see why she’s such a sweet and special girl.
