Thanks for your interest in a pet from A.R.F.! If you see a pet here, they are still available for adoption and you should apply through our adoption application on our website at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/
S. Triangle is a male Lab mix puppy who will be 8 weeks old and available for adoption as of 2/9/19. Hello to all my possible forever families......I am S. Triangle. I know you are probably wondering about my name! Since birth, I've had a faint, white, triangle shape on my nose, so my fosters call me triangle (my sister Sylvie has one too). I am an 8 week old male, Lab (well......no one knows 100%) mix. My mom looks like a Lab mix, but we aren't sure about my dad. I was 8.4 pounds at my 6 week check up. Believe it or not, I am one of the smaller ones of the bunch! I am up to date on my shots, microchipped, and have been given a clean bill of health. Plus, I've been with my fosters since birth, so there shouldn't be many surprises. I am good with other dogs and I enjoy children. I do well meeting new people. I have not had the opportunity to meet any cats. I am only 8 weeks old, so I still need to be housebroken. I have been working on paper/puddle pad training. I started off a little more on the shy side, but I've been coming around. I can hold my own with my siblings. I love playing with toys, especially soft ones! I also enjoy the company of humans and I enjoy snuggling. My fosters have been feeding me a mix of Authority (All life stages) and Blue (Puppy food) that is left down all the time for me, mom, and my siblings. I also receive a small treat before I go to bed. *****To potential forever homes........Mom is mid-size and weighs, approximately, 45-55 pounds. It's hard to tell, right now, her true weight. She carried 12 healthy pups and nursed them throughout the 8 weeks. She won't be back to her true weight for about a month. We have no information regarding dad. We don't believe any of these pups will be small, but cannot guarantee if they will be medium, large, or even extra large at maturity. Please consider this when choosing whether or not to make one of these amazing pups a permanent part of your family. This pup is micro-chipped and up to date on all vaccinations. The new family will be required to have the pup altered by 6 months of age and complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. The pup's adoption fee is $300. Please note ARF does not approve applications for any animal that has not been altered to families that live outside of Illinois and/or beyond 100 miles of Wheaton or Glen Ellyn, IL. A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you're interested in adopting this pup fill out an online application today! http://arf-il.org/application.html Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting. ARF is an all volunteer organization. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions until your application has been approved. Thank you for your patience!
