Female kitten, not spayed yet, about 13 weeks old (as of 9/18/18), microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, currently in a foster home, will be making appearances at ARF Adoption Events (see http://www.arf-il.org/events.html or https://www.facebook.com/A.R.F.Illinois for times and locations), adoption fee $125.

Velveteen is from a litter of 4 girls and 1 boy. She is the adorable runt.  What she might lack in stature, she makes up for in personality. She is sweet, just a little shy, but super playful and boy can she climb.   She wants to play and play and play. She is an endless ball of energy and has such an alert and curious facial expression. Black cats are truly special and she is no exception. You can’t help but fall in love with this little cutie.   Her foster mom happens to think black cats are the absolute best in the world and has several of her own to prove it. 

If you are interested in meeting Velveteen, you can fill out an online adoption application at http://www.arf-il.org/application.html  Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting with the cat.  Filling out the application does not obligate you in any way. Adoption appointments are scheduled based on the order of applications received, so submit your application early!
