Female, spayed, about 3 years old (as of  April 2018), microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, currently in a foster home, will be making appearances at ARF Adoption Events (see http://www.arf-il.org/events.html or https://www.facebook.com/A.R.F.Illinois for times and locations), adoption fee $110.

Fairchild came to us as a stray from Southern Illinois.   At first Fairchild was apprehensive about her foster parents, dogs and other cats, but after a couple weeks became comfortable with her surroundings. Now she can be found sauntering through the house or watching the birds from the couch during the day. At night she likes to curl up next to you in bed.

Fairchild is a sweet, loving, and adorable cat who wants nothing more than to find a nice home with good people to snuggle up to.  This calm, affectionate girl loves attention and will immediately purr and roll around on the floor when you pet her.  She would prefer a quieter home to match her more relaxed lifestyle.

If you are interested in meeting Fairchild, you can fill out an online adoption application at http://www.arf-il.org/application.html  Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting with the cat.  Filling out the application does not obligate you in any way.

Adoption appointments are scheduled based on the order of applications received, so submit your application early! Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process.
