Hello! I’m Rachel, a 6-8 month old gorgeous and friendly pup. I am only 24 pounds and appear to be a “pocket” Pointer mix...and yes, I point! I have soft, low-maintenance fur and the cutest zigzag pattern on my back. I am good with the small dogs in my foster family and love to play and chase with them in the yard. I am also learning to fetch and have picked up on some basic commands. And you should see me on my walks—I am so light on my feet I almost prance!

I also enjoy relaxing and having my belly rubbed...and I especially love to cuddle with my people. As a matter of fact, I want to hang out with them no matter what room they are in...I even park myself on the kitchen throw rug when my foster mom is making dinner! 

I am crate-trained, but the only time I like to go in there is when I want to pull out all of the dog toys-one at a time. You see, not only am I cute, but I am also so well-mannered that I have earned full run of the house and can be kept loose inside. At night I even sleep outside of the crate on a blanket in the family room just like the other dogs do. However, I would probably prefer to sleep with you in your bed if you would let me....

Her new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing.  Rachel ' s adoption fee is $275.
