Natasha is a 2 year old German Shepherd mix who weighs only 36 pounds. She is an affectionate, well behaved dog who will be a delight to any family unit she joins. Natasha, or Tasha, loves to snuggle but is not overly demanding. She also enjoys playing with toys, other dogs, and going for walks. She is not exposed to cats at her foster home. Tasha is housebroken and sleeps quietly all night on a dog bed next to her foster parents’ bed. Tasha came to ARF heartworm positive and is recovering from heartworm treatment. Although her condition does not impact her energy level or her enthusiasm, it is essential that Tasha be kept quiet for the next several weeks . She is, however, expected to make a complete recovery. Tasha will likely gain weight following her treatment and with continued TLC.

Natasha is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, housebroken and spayed. Her new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing.  Natasha's adoption fee is $275.
