Introducing Haunani (how-nani), whose name means Snow Beauty – and she is that.  She’s a lovely girl about 2 years old with medium length white fur and some black spots.  Haunani came to ARF earlier this year when she was VERY pregnant.  After keeping us waiting for several weeks, she finally delivered 5 babies.  Sadly, she was past her due date which is not good for kitties and 4 of her babies did not survive.  However, she raised her remaining baby Hope and was an excellent mama to her baby girl.  Now it’s time to find this girl a home of her own.  She is a very sweet kitty who LOVEs to play.  She would do great in a home with another adult kitty who would play with her and be a companion to her.  She is a little bit of a talker – just letting the humans know when it is time to eat and when she wants her catnip toy back to play with!  Haunani’s journey can be found on facebook.com/kittenville.il if you want to learn more about her and see her in action.  Haunani is up to date on all her vaccines and has been spayed.  She is not declawed, and it is NOT recommended that she be declawed.  She is very good about sitting to have her nails trimmed and she loves to have a nice combing after.
